If you own a business that relies heavily on graphics-intensive software, like an architecture or graphic design business, you need to make sure that your computers stay as close to cutting edge as possible. Programs like Adobe Illustrator or Gimp need a lot of resources to run properly. But, constantly upgrading can be prohibitively expensive. So, what are you to do if you want to stay competitive with the larger companies? You rent computers!
Renting computers allows you to have regular upgrades made to your business machines without incurring the expense of buying new ones or having to deal with the headaches of getting rid of the old ones. Often, the monthly cost of renting is less than making payments on a similar purchase, so you’re also saving money that can be used to promote your business.
Up to date technology is important for all businesses; for some more than others. Don’t let your business fall behind because your budget doesn’t allow for modern computers.

SXSW ’09 is Coming!
Once again, SXSW is set to overload the city of Austin, TX with life. From March 13-19, digital artists, visionaries of technology, and plain old hardcore geeks will descend on the Texas capitol in search of the latest and greatest in cutting-edge 21st century technology. As is the tradition as SXSW, this year’s show offers much more than its predecessor.
The 2006 show saw SXSW make a grand entry into the world of video gaming with the introduction of ScreenBurn. This year’s contribution to the gaming community will include the Game Design Competition, in which emerging game designers will pitch their ideas to a panel of seasoned professionals. Another addition to the 2009 lineup is the SXSW Accelerator, which examines and highlights new forms of digital convergence.
Even though it began as a music and art show, SXSW has become the hottest technology trade show in the United States. As the organizers are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to continue this trend, don’t expect SXSW to become anything less than exhilarating in the years to come. If you need to rent computers for the trade show contact vernoncomputersource.com

Why Renting Makes Good Sense
Staying at the cutting edge of computer technology is a costly proposition. As technology moves forward with increasing rapidity, keeping an office equipped with top of the line computers means buying all new hardware on an almost yearly basis. This simply does not make good financial sense.
However, if the business is a graphics design firm or something else that requires high performance computers, falling behind on technology can be a death sentence, as well. This is why renting computers is a viable alternative to buying for many businesses.
Computer rentals can normally be done for short periods of time, allowing for necessary hardware upgrades to occur on a regular basis. And the monthly rental fee is often much less than the payment for financing a series of computers. By the time many computer purchases are paid off, the machines are obsolete and not worth much on the used market. These hassles are also easily avoided by renting.
